Kutoven “Ku” Stevens (Yerington Paiute) is a 21-year-old cross-country runner, currently studying at the University of Oregon. He is an artist and activist and host of the annual Remembrance Run, a 50-mile, two-day journey across the desert to honor and remember his great-grandfather Frank Quinn, alongside all the children who survived Indian boarding schools. Ku is a 2x Gatorade Player of the Year recipient and was named the Reno Gazette Journal’s Citizen of the Year in 2022. Kutoven is the primary participant in the feature documentary, Remaining Native, directed by Paige Bethmann (2025).
