Doc Society Co-Director

Megha Agrawal Sood believes in the power of sharing stories and building unexpected collaborations to inspire action. She is the co-director of Doc Society and leads the Climate Story Unit, an initiative to make climate a priority in culture through the rapidly growing Climate Story Labs network, which have been hosted in regions ranging from Amazonia to Lebanon to Pacific Islands; the Climate Story Fund, which provides production and impact funding for climate-themed stories including the feature documentary The Territory, the podcast Drilled, and the web series El Tema; and the Climate Story Kitchen, which supports innovative distribution pilots with public service broadcasters, grassroots networks, and streaming platforms. She previously led impact programming at the film company Exposure Labs (Chasing Coral, The Social Dilemma) and helped purpose-driven organizations grow at the innovation firm IDEO. She is a graduate of Northwestern University, serves on the board for Mountainfilm, and is based in Boulder, Colorado.
