At Outside, we’re on a mission to get everyone outside. The Summit is an annual gathering that connects and enriches a growing mainstream community of professionals who believe that feeling joy in the outdoors is a fundamental human right. Join global leaders from across the outdoor industry and government to discuss the innovative business practices, technological advances, and surprising collaborations that are propelling a new era of creativity, equity, and sustainability.

Dates & Hours:

Thursday, May 29 & Friday, May 30, 2025

Outside Summit registration and badge pick-up will begin Thursday, May 29, alongside the Outside Ignite startup pitch competition and an industry job fair hosted in partnership with Basecamp. Summit badge holders must RSVP to attend Outside Ignite via events.com. A full day of Summit programming takes place on Friday, May 30 (8 a.m. – 6 p.m., approximate), followed by evening festivities, setting the stage for the larger Outside Festival on Saturday and Sunday in Civic Center Park (festival times are 1 p.m. – 10 p.m., approximate). Summit badge holders who have purchased badge options with Outside Festival tickets get access to both days of the Outside Festival, as well as pre-festival activities and gatherings over the weekend, plus entry to an Outside Summit lounge on the Festival grounds. Summit badge holders will receive a complete schedule of Outside Festival and Summit events, times, and locations in advance.

‍Registration & Check In:
Check-in begins on the morning of Thursday, May 29 and continues on Friday, May 30 at the following times and locations: 

THURSDAY REGISTRATION TIME:
9am - 4pm: Summit/Ignite attendees can check-in and get their badge starting at 9am. Summit attendees not attending Ignite can come to Denver Public Library to pick up their badge anytime from 9am - 4pm.

Ride-Share Drop-Off Instructions
For the most convenient access, please instruct your ride-share driver to drop you off on 13th Avenue, between Broadway and Acoma street.

Summit Entrance
After being dropped off, proceed to the Acoma Plaza entrance, located on the west side of the library between 13th and 14th Avenues. This entrance is directly across from the Denver Art Museum and leads you into the newly renovated Park View event space. Look for the distinctive red "Lao Tzu" sculpture by Mark di Suvero as a landmark near the entrance.

If you purchased a Summit Badge with Festival wristband, it grants entry to both Summit and Festival events—no separate ticket needed. Festival wristbands will be available for pickup with your Summit Badge during registration hours.

BAG POLICY
To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all attendees, please adhere to the following guidelines regarding bags and personal items:

Bag Size Restrictions: Attendees are encouraged to limit the size of bags brought to the Summit. While there is no specific size restriction, please be mindful that oversized bags may be subject to inspection and could impede movement within the venue.

Prohibited Items: For the safety and comfort of all participants, please refrain from bringing the following items:

- Weapons of any kind
- Illegal substances
- Outside food and beverages
- Large or bulky items that could obstruct pathways or seating

Storage: Please note that there will be no storage lockers or coat checks available at the venue. Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.

Personal Responsibility: The summit organizers and participating venues are not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended items. We recommend keeping personal belongings with you and remaining vigilant throughout the event.

SAFETY
The safety of all attendees is our top priority. Please take a moment to review the following guidelines to ensure a safe and secure experience for everyone:

Follow Staff & Security Instructions:
In the event of an emergency, whether weather-related or otherwise, all attendees are expected to follow directions from event staff, venue personnel, and security teams immediately and without delay.

Stay Aware of Exits & Safety Routes:
Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and evacuation routes within the venue upon arrival. Signage and staff will be available to help guide you.

Weather Protocols:
Should inclement weather arise, shelter-in-place or evacuation protocols may be implemented. Attendees will be notified via in-person announcements and/or mobile alerts.

Report Concerns:
If you see something that doesn’t seem right, say something. Report suspicious behavior or safety concerns to staff or security personnel immediately.

Respect Venue Policies:
All attendees are required to comply with the safety and conduct policies of the Denver Public Library and any partner venues involved in the Summit.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with light snacks and beverage options. And yes, there’s Wi-Fi! Simply connect to the Denver Art Museum’s public Wi-Fi for access. 

‍Please note: No outside food or beverage is allowed at the event, and the event is fully ADA accessible. We ask that you don't film during the discussions in an effort to stay present, but photos are welcome (and encouraged)!

Your appropriate GA+ or VIP wristband will be included in your registration materials upon checking in on Thursday, May 29. 

• How can I access a Summit Badge with Outside+?
  
  • Please visit our ticket purchase pages here. Enter your Outside+ code in the bottom left “Enter access code” section of the page to reveal special member offerings. 

• I applied for the qualified Summit badge discount, how do I redeem my badge if I qualify? 
  
  • Our qualified Summit badges are available on a first-come first-serve basis to those who qualify. Should you be awarded a badge, you will receive an email from our ticketing partner, events.com, directly instructing you to register for your badge. The discount code will already be included. Please add “noreply@events.com” to your email address book to ensure delivery. 

• Are group registrations available for the Summit?
  
  • Yes! Simply go to the corporate sales portion of the ticketing website. One person will be able to facilitate the process on behalf of the group to ensure proper registration. • Will we know who will be attending the Summit ahead of the event?

Requests for these services must be submitted via the form below prior to the event to allow for sufficient preparation. The deadline for this event is May 23rd, 2025.
